Peterson joins The Collins Companies

East Windsor, Connecticut-based The Collins Companies announced Alissa Peterson has joined its Collins Niagara Division as a sales engineer to serve its customers in upstate New York.
Peterson has a degree from RPI in mechanical engineering, as well as an associate’s degree in accounting, which will both prove to be invaluable in the promotion, sales and servicing of the control valve and engineered product lines which Collins represents in the New York market, the distributor noted. Peterson previously worked at IBM where she was a certified supplier quality auditor and at Northeast Controls where she was an inside sales engineer.
“We are thrilled to have Alissa join the Collins team,” President Paul Andruszkiewicz said. “Her knowledge and understanding of both our customers and the products that they require is far above the level that we normally find with a new hire. Her energy, experience and ‘can-do’ attitude make her the perfect addition to our New York team.”
