Domestic Malleable Fittings / Welded Nipples: February 2020
February 14, 2020
Steel (flat-rolled and scrap) price has softened over the past month. Manufacturers will have a hard time pushing through an increase in Q1/Q2. If steel strengthens later in 2020, we could see a potential increase later in the year.
Demand remains stable and fill rates should be ~98% for standard sizes / classes through 2Q ‘20.
