Wynnchurch Capital and Midland Industries announced the completed acquisition of Stainless Adapters Inc., a Houston, Texas-based manufacturer of premium stainless steel hydraulic adapters and pipe fittings servicing the oil and gas, marine, manufacturing, construction, carwash, automotive and agriculture industries worldwide.
Michael Baker, SAI CEO, will join Midland Industries as general manager of the new Houston distribution center opening in spring 2020. The entire SAI product offering and inventory is now offered on midlandindustries.com and through distribution channels in Houston.
"The acquisition of SAI strengthens our team and product offering as we continue to build the most powerful platform the specialty distribution and manufacturing industry has seen,” said Vince Hodes, CEO of Midland Industries. “We welcome Mike Baker and his team to the Midland family and look forward to learning from their deep product knowledge, enabling us to continue to provide our customers a distinct advantage in the marketplace.”
"We are excited about working with the Midland Industries team and what this new partnership means for our customers,” Baker said. “SAI has set the standard by providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service. We’re excited to utilize the resources offered by this growing platform led by Midland Industries, and to accelerate customer expansion and grow our product offering."
