Bonomi Group has acquired the company FRA.BO. S.p.A. (www.frabo.com), headquartered in Quinzano d’Oglio, Brescia, Italy. 

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, FRA.BO is among the world’s leading manufacturers of copper, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass and bronze fittings for plumbing installations. The company’s products are marketed under the Frabo brand.

The Frabo production plant in Bordolano, Italy uses the most advanced equipment and technologies to produce press-fittings, end-feed fittings, compression and threaded fittings, Bonomi points out.  Sixty-million pieces are manufactured annually and exported all over the world. The Frabo catalog includes more than 6000 items.

Frabo fittings are used in water distribution, heating/cooling, gas distribution, steam/high pressure, compressed air, industrial applications and OEM solutions.

As part of the Bonomi Group, Frabo will continue manufacturing in Italy, producing the highest quality products to compete with major international manufacturers on the global market, Bonomi explained. Investments in research & development, quality and communication also will continue in order to diversify products, improve customer service, and open new markets, Bonomi added.

Frabo began as a small firm in 1969 and grew to global significance to thanks to its founding values of professionalism, quality, and strong relationships with its employees and customers, Bonomi noted. These values are shared with its new parent company, the Bonomi Group, it added.

Bonomi North America has served the U.S. and Canada since 2003 and is part of the Bonomi Group of Lumezzane, Italy. Bonomi Group brands include Rubinetterie Bresciane Bonomi (RB) brass ball valves and check valves; Valpres carbon and stainless steel ball valves; and Valbia pneumatic and electric industrial actuators. Bonomi North America maintains an extensive distribution network for these products from its headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.
