The Portland Group, a family-owned, fourth generation plumbing and heating company, recently announced that Michael (Mike) Fox and Benjamin (Ben) Rose have been promoted to chief executive officer and president, respectively.  Howard Rose and Richard Fox will continue to be involved in company matters, acting as chairmen of the company and focusing their efforts on providing guidance to Mike and Ben as they undertake their new roles.

“Mike and Ben have been instrumental in the ongoing accomplishments of The Portland Group for many years,” said Howard Rose and Richard Fox. “Most recently, their efforts were vital in the success of the Middlesex Supply acquisition. We are honored to be able to pass these rolls onto our sons and know that they will continue the tradition of our family owned business.”

Mike graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Finance and has worked for the Portland Group since 1988.  Ben attended Johnson and Wales and graduated with a degree in Marketing. He has worked for the Portland Group since 2004.
