The AD buying group named Linda Hoff director of its Decorative Brands unit. Hoff joined the AD PHCP management team effective March 12, which coincided with the AD Spring Network Meeting held in Palm Springs, California.

AD Decorative Brands was formally launched in November 2017. Today the division is comprised of independent distributors who operate more than 200 kitchen-and-bath stores and showroom locations coast to coast, with more than 1 million square feet of dedicated showroom space.

AD Decorative Brands members are some of the biggest names in the kitchen-and-bath showroom channel and hold a substantial market share, the buying group noted.

Hoff brings to AD more than 30 years of industry experience to the position including the past seven years as executive director of Luxury Products Group, as well as a wealth of knowledge in the plumbing wholesale, decorative plumbing, lighting and hardware industries.

Her experiences and expertise in business development, establishing processes, developing key partnerships and contract negotiations will serve the division well, AD said. Additionally, Hoff brings a level of meeting planning, promotional marketing and organizational governance to AD. The buying group added the strong industry relationships Hoff has forged in key industry organizations such as DPHA, NKBA, Dallas Market Lightovation and ASA will continue to be supported in the Decorative Brands division.

“AD is a well-respected, progressive company with vision to support independents and best-in-class suppliers that called out to me,” Hoff said. “I’m excited to bring my passion for the kitchen and bath industry to the AD family.”

Stephanie Ewing, AD’s vice president, marketing & business development, U.S. & Canada PHCP divisions, added, “AD Decorative Brands members, and suppliers, along with the AD team are very excited Linda has made the decision to join AD. Her wealth of experience is sure to drive growth.”
