Rockwall, Texas-based EZ-FLO International, a manufacturer and distributor of plumbing and appliance installation products, announced it has expanded operations with the purchase of a new distribution center in Kingston, North Carolina. Shipping from the facility begins Jan. 1.

“The investment in our new distribution center in North Carolina is important to our long-term growth strategy, as the facility will provide EZ-FLO the capacity we need to further our commitment to providing best-in-class service and delivery to support our strategic customers,” President Paul Wilson said. “We always are looking for new ways to reach our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible and the strategic placement of this distribution center will play a critical role in our fulfillment strategy.”

The 140,000-square-foot facility is located near shipping ports as well as major interstates (I-40 and I-95). EZ-FLO also has reduced the energy consumption of the facility by 50% with the upgrade to motion-activated energy-efficient high-visibility lighting systems. Along with the facility, 11 acres was acquired to accommodate future expansion.

Headquartered in Rockwall, EZ-FLO International operates the EZ-FLO and Eastman brands of product. In business for more than 35 years EZ-FLO distributes in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America, through distribution centers in New Jersey, Illinois, Florida, Texas, California and North Carolina.

EZ-FLO International also operates a wholly-owned manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China that produces the Eastman brand water connectors and valves.
