Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery increased its foothold in metro New York with the opening of a 9,000-square-foot showroom in Brooklyn’s waterfront neighborhood, Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Ferguson first entered the region in late 2012 with the acquisition of New York kitchen-and bath- dealer Davis & Warshow.

The new Brooklyn location, the company’s largest in the area to date, marks the 11th Ferguson showroom in the metro New York area. The distributor has 280 showrooms nationwide.

Ferguson joins a recent building boom of residential, hospitality and commercial properties opening at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The showroom is strategically poised to become one of the community’s top home design resources offering an extensive selection of state-of-the-art appliances, faucets and fixtures and lighting for the whole home, Ferguson noted.

“The vitality and vibrancy of this Brooklyn neighborhood make this the perfect fit for Ferguson,” said Mary Cifuentes, director of showrooms in the Northeast region for Ferguson. “As well, this addition reflects our abiding commitment to serving the world’s design capital. The space was carefully created to offer convenient access and inspiration for our clientele of architects, designers, builders, contractors as well as homeowners who are seeking the latest in kitchen and bath.”

The showroom, at 360 Furman Street, features working displays, in-store events, product demonstrations and other experiential activities, Ferguson explained. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The new location also crowns an aggressive growth strategy by the company to create more than one million square feet of warehouse space to serve the area’s growing business.
