Kinetico Inc., a company in the water treatment industry, has acquired Nimbus Water Systems, a Southern California-based manufacturer of high-quality commercial and residential water treatment products. The purchase combines Kinetico’s s water softening and purification products with innovative water filtration and media technologies from the company’s 2016 acquisition of Selecto, and Nimbus’ high-efficiency reverse osmosis (R.O.) systems. Nimbus will be a wholly bowned subsidiary strengthening Kinetico’s position as the provider of choice for total water care.

For more than 45 years, Nimbus Water Systems has been designing and manufacturing innovative reverse osmosis water treatment systems for homes and businesses. The company has built robust partnerships with leading companies in the food and beverage market as well as strong U.S. distribution of its high-efficiency residential reverse osmosis water treatment systems.

Anthony and Patti Capone will remain with the organization providing leadership and guidance, and Nimbus will continue to operate from its location in Temecula, Calif..
