• Chicago Tube & Iron promoted Jim Farnan to vice president of procurement and also promoted Ron Chalos to general manager of CTI Indianapolis. Farnan now manages the procurement and inventory control functions of CTI’s largest asset.

  • Traeger Brothers & Associates named Don Watson Houston branch manager and Jeff Witemyre senior sales associate at its Lakeland, Fla., location.

  • The Wm. Powell Co., promoted Mathew Reverman to director of engineering. He joined the company more than 16 years ago and worked with and was trained by recently retired Jim Hengehold, regarded as one of the top valve engineers in the industry. The company also announced Kyle Mills has been promoted to Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. Mills joined Powell in 2015.

  • A. O. Smith appointed David Warren president and general manager of its North America, India, Europe and Export (NAIEE) water-heater operations. In his role, Warren will have profit-and-loss responsibility for the 10 brands that make up the operation. He will oversee the unit’s 4,500 employees at facilities in the U.S., Canada, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

  • Jim French was appointed to the position of director of sales-specialty products for Bradford White Water Heaters. Prior to joining Bradford White, French was vice president of wholesale sales at Bosch Thermotechnology North America.

  • Danfoss welcomed Kim Fausing as its new president and CEO. Fausing served as Danfoss’ COO the past nine years.

  • Laars Heating Systems, a subsidiary of Bradford White, appointed John Brody to director of sales. Brody previously led the North American sales division at AERCO International.

  • T&S Brass hired Cyndi Neoh as regional sales manager for Southeast Asia where she manages the company’s network of customers across Southeast Asian nations, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.

  • Bosch Thermotechnology named David Lopes sales director for commercial applications and Melvin Harris as sales director for residential applications.

  • Asahi/America announced Alex Gambino transitioned from the company engineering department to its business development team as business development manager for the company’s industrial piping lines in the western region and Mexico.

  • Uponor North America was named one of the top 150 workplaces in Minnesota by the Star-Tribune, ranking 18th on the large-size company list. This is Uponor’s fifth year in a row earning top 150 recognition.

  • Rheem opened a new headquarters building for its water-heating division in Roswell, Ga., only 10 miles from the company’s corporate headquarters in Sandy Springs, Ga. The 39,000-square-foot building is situated in northern Fulton County, part of the Atlanta metro area.
