APR Supply Co. donated a Friedrich Ductless and a Fujitsu Halcyon Ductless System to the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association’s Middletown location to help support the organization’s ongoing training efforts.
Winsupply has completed the purchase of Clinton, Iowa-based HVAC distributor Clausen Supply. Clausen Supply is one of the best-established HVAC distributors in the eastern Iowa region. The previous owner, Jon Clausen, will be exiting the company immediately after close.
Rinnai America announced the acquisition of Industrias MASS, a leader in the commercial water heater market in Mexico. This acquisition marks the first by Rinnai America Corporation and follows the launch of its Strategic Business Initiative announced earlier this year, meant to accelerate the company’s presence via acquisitions and partnerships.
Dakota Supply Group (DSG) announced the acquisition of Montana Waterworks & Irrigation (MTWW) in an asset purchase effective September 1. Montana Waterworks is a waterworks distributor serving Eastern Montana from its Billings location. This will be DSG’s first waterworks location in the state.
Rheem was named a National Preferred Partner Award recipient by David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately-held home builders. The award recognizes field and manufacturing partners that have consistently operated at world-class levels, as determined by the home builder’s supplier evaluation platform.

Company announces new series of training programs.

A. O. Smith announced a new series of training programs as a result of high-demand for its A. O. Smith University educational sessions. The company has two state-of-the-art training facilities, located in Ashland City and Johnson City, Tennessee, which held primarily virtual training sessions in 2020 with over 100,000 combined class attendances. Both facilities are utilized to train technicians, contractors and product representatives on a variety of products and topics.
APR Supply Co. held its 19th Annual Buying Show in Hershey, PA on August 11th. Prior to the show, APR took the opportunity to host some of its top manufacturer partners and recognize a few for going above and beyond.
Milwaukee Valve celebrated the ceremonial first cut of steel for the newest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, Doris Miller (CVN 81). The ceremonial cut took place at Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia, the location of the ship’s construction, but parts of the ship are being manufactured at the Milwaukee Valve bronze foundry and manufacturing facility in Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin.
This industry lends itself to a fair share of folks having the title of road warrior — it’s part of the deal, whether making sales calls, visiting existing customers or going to events.
