The name change recognizes the evolution of the Industrial & Safety Division, acknowledging an expansion of construction-focused distributors and suppliers alongside AD’s longstanding industrial and safety membership.

Following the most recent vote, Bill Condron, CEO of The Granite Group Wholesalers, LLC,  was elected to the Board for the first time. Karla Neupert Hockley, Chair & CEO of Consolidated Supply Co., and George Vorwick, President and CEO of United Electric Supply  Company, Inc., were re-elected to additional terms. 

The company was founded in 1969, and grew from a two-man operation to a full-line industrial supply house. 

AD has announced the formation of its Independent Electrical Supply Division’s Supplier Advisory Council, a group of respected supplier leaders dedicated to shaping the future of independent electrical distribution.

Gaumond, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of invaluable industry experience, will be a vital addition to AD Building Supplies – Canada’s team, managing all aspects of the business development process for the division’s presence across Canada.

Kelly and Cline’s arrival comes as two PHCP Business Unit leaders step away from AD. Linda Hoff, who served as Director of the Decorative Brands Division, retired in August, and Jeff Konen, Vice President, Supplier Programs, Plumbing and PVF Divisions, plans to retire at the end of the year.

Members of the AD PHCP Business Unit gathered from May 3 to 5 at the AD PHCP Spring Network Meeting in-person for the first time since 2019 with a record breaking 401 individuals in attendance.
