2014 KBIS/IBS draws a crowd in Vegas
The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and International Builders Show (IBS), held under one roof February 4-6 in Las Vegas, was very successful, with more than 1,700 exhibitors covering more than 650,000 square feet of floor space. With more than 75,000 industry people walking the aisles, the combined conventions were very successful.
Peter Schor, 40-year industry veteran and senior advisor to NAOPSP, said, “the consensus of KBIS participants was that the show was the best in several years.” In the “Best of KBIS 2014 Awards” Dacor’s Discovery iQ 30’’ Wall Oven won Best in Show and Best of Kitchen: Gold; Glideware won Best of Kitchen: Silver; Delta’s Temp2O Technology won Best of Bath: Gold; and TOTO’s Neorest 750H won Best of Bath: Silver.
IBS also gave out awards in the following categories: Best in Show; Best Home Technology Product; Best Kitchen Product; Best Bath Product; Best of Indoor Living Product; Best of Outdoor Living Product; Best Window & Door Product; and Most Innovative Building Product.
KBIS, IBS and the newly added Stone Expo will be held together on January 20-22, 2015(and again in 2016), at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
