Sol Friedman, of AF Supply in New York, passed away March 13 of pneumonia. He was 93.

Sol Friedman’s father, Alex, started AF Supply in 1922 and by 1946 he and his brother, Joe, joined the company and worked hard to build it into the dynamic and sound company that it is today. Sol’s sons, Bennett, Howard and Warren and Joe’s son, Jack, continue to run the business.

Funeral service will be in Queens, N.Y., on Thursday, March 15 at 12:45 p.m. at Sinai Chapels.
