Brasstech receives ISO 14001 certification
Kitchen and bath faucets, fixtures and accessories manufacturer Brasstech has received ISO 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System. The certification was granted by TUV, which recognizes Brasstech’s high level of commitment to lower the environmental impact of operations.
The certification imposes a tough system of environmental management and procedures that require a company’s compliance — all of which are recognized worldwide.
Brasstech started the certification process in 2011 with the creation of a system consisting of many documented procedures and work instructions. The company is audited every six months to make sure it is in line with the ISO 14001 standard and working toward its goal of 10% less energy use by 2015.
