Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Murray Supply Co., recently volunteered with a group of eight sales associates from its Charlotte branch to complete the weatherization of a Habitat for Humanity house.

The Charlotte group worked with other volunteers to strip the house down to the drywall and cement floor. Siding also was removed from the outside of the 20-year-old house, which had been vacant for three years. The Charlotte group completed 40 hours of volunteer work to ensure a future Habitat family would have a safe and affordable house to live in.
