Fulton Companies recently was the winner of the Jobs Award from the Central New York Economic and Job Development Authority.

Fulton received the award, presented annually by Operation Oswego County, for its contribution to the regional economy by investing $13.5 million with the expansion of its manufacturing and office complex to 112,000-sq. ft.

“We are honored to receive the Jobs Award,” Fulton CFO Kevin LaMontagne said. “Through tireless hard work and dedication, Fulton’s growing workforce is the single biggest contributor to its success.”

Fulton has created more than 50 new manufacturing jobs and is expected to see continued growth. Fulton is located 30 miles north of Syracuse and is among the largest employers in a county that has some on the state’s highest unemployment rates.

“Fulton is extremely fortunate to be headquartered in Oswego County,” LaMontagne said. “We are able to recruit good people.”
