Cleveland, OH-based Merit Brass has expanded its geographical footprint to include Birmingham, AL (additional distribution centers in Sparks, NV, and Dallas). The 33,000-sq.-ft. facility will open Oct. 3. Bryan Humphries, who recently joined the company with 20 years of experience in distribution, will manage the Birmingham facility with Luke Webb as an inside sales rep.

Also, Merit Brass recently hired a Pacific regional sales manager, Alex Willis.
