What's New in ASAU Online
The ASA Education
Foundation has developed ASAU Online
to deliver its programs through an online platform, in quick, but highly
interactive modules. These courses provide valuable information along with
interactive exercises, learning games, and a final review.
In addition to Overview of Wholesale Distribution© and the ProductPro® PVF Series – Introduction to Pipe, Valve, and Fittings©, Introduction to Steel, Stainless Steel, and Iron Pipe and Fittings©, and Introduction to Copper Tube, Plastic Pipe and Fittings© - the following courses have been added to ASAU Online:
Essentials of Superb Customer Service in Distribution© is a 31-minute interactive course, which addresses the critical operational, economic and interpersonal aspects of superb service from a wholesale distribution perspective.
Essentials of How Wholesaler-Distributors Make Money© is a 20-minute interactive course for all employees that covers how wholesaler-distributors make their money, how that money is spent, and how they make a profit to stay in business. Explanations of important terms such as gross margin, gross margin dollars, and mark-up are included.
Introduction to PHCP/Industrial Valves© is a 17-minute interactive online program that provides new team members with a concise yet important overview of the PHCP/HVAC and Industrial PVF industries, which explains how these industries contribute to the overall health, safety, and economic productivity of the U.S.
