Members of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), during the association’s Executive Summit in Washington, DC, announced the Board of Directors for this year.

Members of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), during the association’s Executive Summit in Washington, DC, elected Robert Taylor Chairman of the NAW Board of Directors. He currently serves as president and CEO of Do it Best Corp., headquartered in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Taylor succeeds Chip Hornsby, the former group chief executive of Wolseley plc. Hornsby will remain active on the NAW Board as Immediate Past Chairman.

Completing the 2010 NAW Board of Directors are Chairman of the NAW Association Executives Council (AEC), Joseph Thompson Jr., CEO of Thompson Management Associates, LLC, an association management company that manages The Association for Hose & Accessories Distribution, the International Sealing Distribution Association, and the Security Hardware Distributors Association; Chairman-Elect of the AEC, David Cotter, CEO of the Textile Care Allied Trades Association; and Past Chairman of the AEC, M. Robert Weidner III, President and CEO of the Metals Service Center Institute.
