Reading, England-based Wolseley plc announced in late June that Chip Hornsby had stepped down as group chief executive and was to be succeeded effective July 13 by Ian Meakins, who until recently had been chief executive of Travelex Holdings Ltd., the international foreign exchange and payments business.
