Jim Seamon, 76, a manufacturers rep from the late 1960s
until retirement in 2002, died on Jan. 3, 2009, at his home with his family at
his side. He is remembered as “one of the good guys” who kept his rep firms in
multiple trades while being recognized with numerous sales performance awards throughout
Kentucky and Indiana.
Plumbing wholesale was first, but Seamon had great success with Belknap, S&T, HWI and other hardware outlets during his career. He took Gerber from $280,000 to more than five million in business in his area.
Wayne/Blue Angel pump has been with this founder of Seamon & Associates, operating today as Seamon Sales Associates Inc. for more than 40 years. He was a charter member of AIM/R, and had memberships with the Indiana, Kentucky, and the greater Indianapolis PHCC. He enjoyed golf with his buddies and his family. He will be missed but not forgotten.
