The entrance to Frank Webb's new Bath Center showroom in Methuen, MA, offers a warm welcome.

Based on the premise that you don’t have to sacrifice style when creating a bath for a person requiring accessible living features, Frank Webb’s Bath Centers has created a 2,000-sq.-ft. Accessible Living Bath Design Center within its 7,000-sq.-ft. Methuen, MA showroom.

“When you look at the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and a growing population of baby boomers who are looking at aging in place for their parents and themselves, the world changes,” said Jeffrey Pope, president of wholesale firm F.W. Webb Co., Bedford, MA, which operates the showroom. “This generation expects more options and a higher level of aesthetics and we have created those choices in this Design Center.”

More than a dozen displays showcase innovative accessible design ideas. Vignettes show how mainstream products can be adapted to meet accessible living needs.
