Anvil
International announced several appointments. The company promoted John Smayda
to vice president, marketing. A 38-year industry veteran, Smayda formerly was
AnvilStar’s director of sales for the eastern U.S. Bill Gilliam was named
manager of Anvil International’s Energy Division. He is a 35-year veteran of
both Anvil and the oil and gas industry.
Shaun Dunn
Shaun
Dunn was hired as national engineering manager working with Anvil’s business
development team. Dunn’s 18 years of experience include stints with McWane and
Agilent Technologies. Wendell Hayes has transferred from Anvil’s mechanical
team to the Energy Division. John Dannaker has joined Anvil as a mechanical
specialist, working closely with PVF contractors on Anvil’s Gruvlok and hanger
product lines. He has 25 years of industrial and mechanical sales experience.
Dannaker will focus on sales in southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania,
Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
