equity investment in AMTC from a private investment group.

The group includes George Patrick Murphy, former President and CEO of Technical Concepts. In conjunction with the equity investment, Murphy will serve as a Strategic and Operational Advisor to the management of AMTC, as well as a member of the Board of Directors.
“This new round of financing combined with George’s experience and contact base in the plumbing, sanitary supply and paper channels will help accelerate our growth objectives as we continue to take market share,” said Jorge Maercovich, President and CEO of AMTC.
From 1997 to 2005, Murphy served as President and CEO of Technical Concepts LLC, a global supplier of automatic washroom fixtures and soap and air care systems. Prior to his tenure there, Murphy held several top management and sales positions with divisions of Kimberly-Clark Corp. and Scott Paper Co.
“AMTC has a truly unique position in today’s washroom automation market. Their products combine the highest reliability with cutting edge water saving features, positioning AMTC as the solution provider for the future.
