CNET recently published an interview with David E. Rodgers, deputy assistant energy secretary for energy efficiency within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy(click here). Among the topics he addressed were the government's various green building goals, including highlights of the Energy Department's Zero-Net Energy Commercial Building Initiative. According to Rodgers, work on that program has involved researching technologies to help commercial buildings operate at maximum efficiency.
