to the International Code Council (ICC) model codes.
ASHRAE announced it has made 15 proposals in regard to its heat load calculation standard, developed with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, to the International Code Council (ICC) model codes. Final hearings for the code change proposals will take place in September 2008. If the proposals are accepted, they would be included in the 2009 code.
