Murray Supply Co. (Winston-Salem, NC) honored Walt Murray, who founded the company in 1963 with his father, Craig V. Murray Sr., at a company-wide recognition dinner in February. After 44 years in the industry, Walt Murray will reduce his role in the company but remain a consultant. His sons, Charlie Murray and David Murray, are president and vice president, respectively. Other awards presented include: sales awards for 2007 to Joe Jackson and Dan Wilkinson from the Charlotte, NC, branch and to Larry Surles and Wynn Crumbley from the Raleigh, NC, branch; Sales Leadership Award to Kenny Meece from the Winston-Salem branch; and Branch of the Year to the Raleigh branch.
