The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) named C. David Myers, vice president of Johnson Controls, chairman for 2008. Myers said he plans to focus on effective HVACR self-regulation and replacing the installed base of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment in the U.S. to “dramatically increase energy savings.”
