Uponordonated 9,000 feet of PEX tubing to the renovation of the Birmingham Ronald McDonald House® in Alabama. The outdated 1920s facility will be replaced with a new $7 million, 33,000-sq.-ft. home with energy- and cost-efficient technologies. The company’s donation will provide domestic water service, as well as supply the facility’s 63 ceiling-mounted, water-source heat pump units to cool and heat the house.

American Pipe & Supply, Birmingham, AL, also offered its services to the house by providing classroom training and onsite installation assistance for the HVAC design. The distributor also plans to donate 5% of its project cost to the charity.
