Danfoss, a manufacturer of electronic and mechanical components and control systems for refrigeration, air-conditioning and energy management solutions, has acquired Aztec Energy Partners, a company involved in energy management services to the food retail industry. Aztec provides energy services regarding project management, consulting, energy consumption and exception reporting, analysis and correction action services.

Energy management is a fast-growing market with expectations of topping $6 billion this year. The current president of Aztec Energy Partners, Anthony Tippins, will continue to head the company after the acquisition.
