Highest A/C Shipments and Air-Source Heat Pumps In Second Quarter 2006
U.S. factory shipments of unitary air-conditioners and heat pumps by second quarter's end of this year totaled 4,108,831. Heat pump shipments, year-to-date ending in June, totaled 1,194,316 and were up 17% from January - June 2005. Distributor shipments, year-to-date numbers ending in June were up 8%.
