The Keeney Manufacturing Co. sponsored a “Pigs on Parade” fundraising event in conjunction with WIT & Co.'s annual vendor/member conference in Dallas. Members were sent plain white piggy banks to decorate in advance of the meeting. The decorated pigs were on display at the meeting with donation canisters, in which attendees could place money to vote for their favorite. During the two-day conference, $1,156 was raised for AmeriCares Tsunami Relief Efforts in Southeast Asia. The top three fundraisers were Plumbing Distributors, Lawrenceville, Ga.; Lute Supply, Portsmouth, Ohio; and Mid-City Supply, Elkhart, Ind.
