Gunnar Baldwin and his wife, Heather, rowing for Habitat 2005.
TOTO USA said it will donate bathroom suites - toilet and lavatory - to seven New York and Vermont chapters of Habitat for Humanity, outfitting all bathrooms in the houses they will build during 2005. The contribution was in support of the efforts of Gunnar Baldwin, TOTO's senior business development manager, who rowed his 18-foot guide boat 180 miles in August. At key locations along the route, Baldwin stopped to instruct the new Habitat homeowners on installing and maintaining water-efficient plumbing fixtures.

Delta Faucet Co. associates volunteered their time to help build a Habitat for Humanity home for the sixth consecutive year. This year they worked on the Indianapolis home of Becky Buehler and her 2-year-old twin boys. Buehler was required to complete 250 equity hours of homeownership classes as well as help build the home.

In other news, Delta Faucet Co. was presented with the 2005 Spirit of Tennessee Award by the United Way of Tennessee for its continued support and contribution from associates at its Jackson, Tenn., plant.
