Sterling demonstrated its dual-flush toilets and allowed visitors a close-up view of the manufacturing process for its Vikrell material used for bathtubs and showers as part of the Sterling Summit in Huntsville, Ala., in September. Members of the media (including Supply House Times), builders, remodelers, contractors and wholesalers were invited for the plant tour and conference. Pictured, Sterling's Karsten two-piece gravity-fed toilet with Dual Force flushing technology that lets the user choose between two water levels for each flush: a water-conserving 0.8 gallon flush to remove light or liquid waste, or the industry standard 1.6 gallon flush.
Also pictured is Sterling's Stor-Ganize bypass shower door introduced this year. The shower doors feature sturdy, modular, easy-to-clean storage shelves and hooks within a storage column. The patent-pending stationary vertical storage column can be mounted on either the water spray or non-water spray side of the door.
