Uponor Wirsbo is celebrating its 20th year in the United States. The company said its roots trace back to 1620 in Sweden, but it became incorporated in the United States in 1984. The U.S. headquarters are in Apple Valley, Minn., and one of the company's manufacturing facilities is in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Wirsbo, which was acquired by Uponor in 1988, is known for its development of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) tubing. More than five billion feet of the tubing is in service worldwide, the company said.
