Parker Hannifin completed its acquisition of Sporlan Valve Co., a manufacturer of refrigeration and air conditioning components and controls and systems, for an undisclosed amount. It will become a new division within Parker's Climate & Industrials Controls Group.
Sporlan is headquartered in Washington, Mo., with seven manufacturing facilities and 1,000 employees. Its annual revenues are about $150 million.
Parker said in a statement it plans to use Sporlan's expertise in electronic control technologies to give its customers more precise cooling products that reduce energy consumption and provide system diagnostic capabilities.
