The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute announced that its technical director, David W. Viola, will once again serve as a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association's (PHCC) National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC) Committee, and the International Plumbing Code's (IPC) Development Committee. He also represents PMI's members on the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials' (IAPMO) Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) Committee.
The IPC, UPC and NSPC are model plumbing codes developed for the purpose of adoption by federal, state and local governments.
The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute is a voluntary, not-for-profit trade association of plumbing product manufacturers and suppliers.
