Johnstone Presents Leadership Award

Johnstone Supply (Portland, Ore.) presented Jerry Hughes, owner of three Johnstone wholesale companies in Indiana, with its Leadership Award. He joined the company's cooperative in 1988 and recently retired from the board, where he was chairman of the long-range strategic planning committee and a member of the taskforce that developed the current strategic plan. He has also received the John M. Shank Entrepreneurial Award and the Phil Garda Mentor Award, has been a Big Brother to two other members and was honored by the Indiana Graduate School of Business as one of the Top 100 Private Growth Businesses in the state for his companies.
