Houston-based Wilson Supply said 2004 revenues totaled nearly $1.2 billion, compared to just over $900 million in 2003. Increased activity in both the United States and Canada generated revenue increases of about 30% in the energy sector, and new contracts, increased spending and sharply rising steel prices led to revenue increases of approximately 28% in the industrial market.

The company opened eight new branches in the United States as a result of the excellent business conditions. Canadian revenue growth also was very strong for the Wilson sister company, CE Franklin.
