Munters Corp. Moisture Control Services (MCS), which specializes in water damage recovery and temporary humidity control, restored the George W. Norris School District in Lincoln, Neb., after it was destroyed last spring in a tornado. The 207 to 260 mile-per-hour winds tore apart roofs and walls and blew out windows. Pictured in front of the damage are Dr. Roy Baker (right), superintendent of the school district, and an MCS worker. The company's recovery operation included: structural drying and stabilization with desiccant dehumidification units; content inventory and restoration by removing, cleaning and sanitizing all furnishings and equipment; sanitization of all interior building surfaces; and document stabilization and restoration with removal of all documents to restore and preserve their condition.
