Transportation and warehousing remains on the list of the industries with the highest injury rates. Data compiled for 2003 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported 7.8 cases of non-fatal workplace injuries per 100 equivalent full-time workers, compared with 5.0 for all industries.
