Reliable Pipe Supply Co. (San Diego) raised about $5,000 (which includes a matching contribution from the wholesaler) for the Salvation Army for Wildfire Victims, with its 19th annual tradeshow. The event is held in December and since 9/11 has been converted into a charitable fundraiser. Among the participants this year were Red-White Valve, Conbraco and Anvil. Vendors contributed money and were invited to display their products. “The trade show gets bigger and better every year,” said Paula C. Mendell, president. “The wildfires affected so many of us. Some neighborhoods look like war zones. Eventually, we hope to rebuild the communities of San Diego into the beautiful areas they once were.”
