Editor in Chief of IndustryWeek magazine

The IPD is delighted to offer its members an exclusive presentation by the prominent authority on business management and leadership issues, Patricia Panchak.

On Thursday, October 14th, the IPD Breakfast Program will convene at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel. Following a few brief Divisional reports, Ms. Panchak will make her presentation entitled, “The Global Challenge: Surviving and Thriving in the Changing Industrial Landscape.”

At the helm of the most influential publication in manufacturing, Ms. Panchak debunks the negative myths that pervade the sector. Through extensive research, she provides a window into the best practices of world-class organizations and ;provides the knowledge that companies need to put the challenge of low-cost competition into perspective.

Her recent work confronts the biggest challenge to U.S. global manufacturing dominances in nearly 25 years - the emergence of China and other low-cost countries into the world marketplace. Ms. Panchak's presentation will address how successful U.S. companies are surviving - even thriving - in the face of these pressures.

IPD member companies will receive a limited number of tickets to this session as a benefit of their Division membership. Other fully-registered attendees may purchase tickets to this event. Contact Amy Black at ASA, 312-464-0090 or ablack@asa.net.
