Hughes Supply Inc. (Orlando, Fla.) announced it has completed the acquisition of Todd Pipe & Supply, the largest independent wholesale plumbing supplier in the high-growth markets of Southern California and Las Vegas. The transaction closed on May 28 and is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.

Founded in 1966, Todd Pipe operates eight branch locations and has 483 employees. Todd Pipe's sales and operating income for the 12 months ended Jan. 31, were $211 million and $13 million, respectively.
