“Living in Wild Times: Shortages, Inflation, Globalization… What's Next?” is the title of a wide-ranging panel discussion sponsored by the American Supply Association's Industrial Piping Division at this year's ASA Convention in Boston. The event will be held 3:30 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13.

Panelists are: Mike Stefko, IPSCO Tubulars; Kevin Mahan, Metso Automation; Joseph Avento, Outokumpu; Ron Lafferty, Pennsylvania Machine Works; Gary Moore, Victaulic Co. of America; and Stephen Letko, Weldbend Corp. Moderator is SUPPLY HOUSE TIMES Editor Jim Olsztynski.

Olsztynski also will be moderating a panel discussion on “The Future of Manufacturing in America,” on Saturday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., as part of the ISH North America conference program in Boston. Panelists are: Rex Martin, president and CEO of NIBCO; Ron Grabski, vice president of technical services, Globe Union; and Thomas Bradtke of the Boston Consulting Group and author of a BCG report on “Capturing Global Advantage,” which discusses strategic options for sourcing and selling opportunities in low-cost countries.
