Kohler Co. and its subsidiary brand Sterling donated suites of bathroom products for the 40th annual SkillsUSA Championship. The contest was organized and co-sponsored by the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association. More than 4,000 high school and post-secondary college and technical students participated in hands-on skills and leadership competitions in Kansas City, Mo., in June. Kohler's contributions included 35 sets of pedestal lavatories, shower and lavatory faucets and toilets from its Devonshire™ suite, while Sterling donated its Ensemble™ 48-inch shower enclosures made of Vikrell™ material. These products will now be used over the next five years of competition by student plumbers. The SkillsUSA Championships are for high school and college-level students who are members of SkillsUSA-VICA.
