Brasstech, a decorative plumbing manufacturer, appointed three new rep agencies: Premier Marketing will handle northern California and northern Nevada; Silvertip Marketing will cover Louisiana, Oklahoma, east Texas and Arkansas; and The Joyce Agency is responsible for Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware and Virginia. Elkay named Superior/Bremermann & Associates of Hanrahan and Baton Rouge, La., its 2000 Rep of the Year. Superior/Bremermann was recognized for surpassing established sales criteria in every category. In addition, Brian Yelton of Broderick & Associates (Peoria, Ill.) received Elkay's Execution Award for successfully carrying out the functions and terms of the manufacturer's policies and programs. Yelton received a trophy and a $1,000 travel voucher. Falcon Stainless appointed Firestone Manufacturers Representative as its rep for Southern California and Clark County, Nev.; Ayers & Associates for Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle; and Signature Sales for Arizona. Fernco, supplier of flexible drain pipe connectors, named Promarc Sales (Garfield Heights, Ohio) as its representative for Ohio; Kemper Sales and Associates (Nicholasville, Ky.) for Kentucky; Altherm (Englewood, N.J.) for northern New Jersey and metro New York; Wm. M. McClain Co. (Nashville) for Tennessee; and Gordon & Associates (Portland, Ore.) for Oregon, Washington and northern Idaho. Kindred Industries Ltd. recognized five of its top sales reps. National Sales Representative of the Year Award went to Philip Brill of Brill Associates for overall contributions to sales achievements. Regional sales rep awards went to John Ogden of Ogden Sales Associates (eastern region), Rocco Petrosino of Kamco Representatives (central region) and Dick Baur of Meadow Creek Sales (western region). President's Club Award winners were Bob Sears of Ellsworth Kiel Associates and Philip Brill. Flint & Walling presented Oscar Russell of ORCO Sales (Blue Grass, Iowa) with its Manufacturers Representative of the Year Award. Mountain Plumbing Products named Prime Sales of Atlanta as its 2000 Sales Agency of the Year. Raypak presented awards to its top stocking reps for 2000: Performance Engineering Group, Heat Transfer Equipment, Heat Transfer Sales, Hydrotemp, Environmental Mechanical Equipment, Heaslett Sales and Mechanical Agents.
