Controls Group honors distributors

Controls Group North America, an HVACR controls marketing group, presented four distributors with awards at its annual shareholders meeting. Dubuque Supply (Dubuque, Iowa) and Cochrane Supply and Engineering (Madison Heights, Mich.) received the 20-20 Award, and Temperature Control Systems (Dallas) and ACR Supply (Durham, N.C.) received the 30-30 Award.

The 20-20 Awards are given to members who increased their purchases by 20% with 20% of Controls Group's Preferred Vendors. The 30-30 Awards are given to members with 30% purchase increases with 30% of preferred vendors.

Other awards included the Award of Excellence for Programs more than $1 million to Siemens Building Technologies and the Award of Excellence for Programs less than $1 million to MagneTek. Uni-Line North America received an award for Best Controls Group Program and Nu-Calgon won the award for Best Customer Service and Support.

The group also added four manufacturers to its Preferred Vendors list: ICM, Motors & Armatures, MAMAC Systems and Hays Cleveland.
