Emco Ltd. (London, Ontario, Canada) reported net earnings of $2.4 million (U.S.) for the first quarter ended March 31, a significant increase over a net loss of $2.56 million for the same period in 2001. Sales for the quarter were $174.5 million, an increase of 6% over the comparable period last year.
